On another note, robust testing was a big part of the meet with the man, Lance Armstrong making no secret of the attention drug-testers gave him. Around 200 random and targeted drug tests, including a mandatory pre-competition blood sampling of every entrant, was taken at this year's Tour Down Under. While the number will not differ greatly from last year, the tests are more comprehensive. For the first time, there will be specific testing for human growth hormone.
Looks like the demon sport with regards to doping is doing the most about it.
